During the holiday season, family and friends will gather in homes all across Houston to celebrate Christmas and the New Year’s arrival. Here at Richmonds Air, we want to make sure your home comfort systems are working properly to keep your loved ones warm during the holidays, but we also know that no furnace can replace the warmth that comes from spending time with your family and community.
Here are a few community Holiday events to warm your heart this season:
Festival of Lights – The Festival of Lights, which twinkles every night between 6 PM and 10 PM at Moody Gardens, is the largest holiday light show on the Gulf Coast. There’s something fun to do for the whole family with over a million lights, outdoor ice-skating, an ice slide, and even Ice Land with ice sculptures of Sponge Bob Square Pants! These Moody Garden activities will be available until January 10th, 2016.
A Christmas Carol – Ghost Story of Christmas – Recurring daily until December 28that the Alley Theater, this re-telling of the classic Dickens’ tale will charm and entertain your whole family of all ages with spectacular set design, fog machines, and an unusual twist on the three ghosts of Christmas past, present, and future.
Ice Skating at Discovery Green – Get out of the house and go ice skating in the middle of Downtown Houston this Christmas with your family from now until February 7th! The rink is one of the largest in the Southwest and is open daily, even on holidays.
Rockin’ New Year’s Noon – It’s a rockin’ party just for kids at the Children’s Museum of Houston every New Year’s Eve when families gather to celebrate New Year’s Noon! Come watch the Noon Parade with live music, a DJ, and watch the ball drop!
